Aristotle House - Crazy Arcade

What is summer without a water gun fight? As the hot summer weather waned, we decided to hold a memorable outdoor event for the Aristotle house freshmen. The event was called ‘Crazy Arcade’ because it was comprised of mini-games (such as dodgeball, charades and a treasure hunt) and a main event; a huge water-fight called “shoot the queen”. Aristotelians truly savored ‘the good life’ when our beads of perspiration from dodgeball were rewarded with cool sprays of water.

The students were divided into four teams, with one team member being dubbed the ‘queen.’ The object of the game was to soak the other teams’ queens, whilst protecting your own. The team with the driest queen won.

For two hours the YIC football pitch was filled with screams, laughter and smeared makeup as the Aristotle students drenched their classmates and even had the chance to wet their Resident Assistants. At the end of the event, the queens removed their T-Shirts and the water was drained into plastic cups for inspection by the judges. The winning team was awarded a free fried chicken dinner.

This was the second installment of the Crazy Arcade event, which serves as a team-building exercise for the incoming freshmen. The event was a great success and we look forward to the next Aristotle program.
