Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Yonsei students attend school at home via an online learning platform they do not have many opportunities to meet their friends face-to-face. As social distancing theory was loosened, 3 Allen RAs, Yebin Jeon (2022-1 Allen Int’l House RA, '19), Seulbi Lee(2022-1 Allen Int’l House RA, '19), and Jiwon Yoon(2022-1 Allen Int’l House RA, '20), wanted to provide the RC students with an opportunity to have fun in person at Songdo International Campus that they designed a program to play a board game.

The board game program was conducted from May 17th to 19th from 7 to 9 pm. About 15 students participated in the program each day. Students were divided into groups of 4 to 5 and enjoyed an hour playing the board game that they chose. After the first session, new groups were made by mixing up the members and students played another game with new friends. 

Being one of the first face-to-face programs in Allen house, most students were satisfied after participating in the program, leaving the comment that they had great fun by meeting new friends for the first time in their college life and getting close to one another. This program made RAs and RC students look forward to next semester when school would be free from social distancing.
